Tracy Lee Choisser, also known as "Grammer," 61, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018, with youth still on her side surrounded by her loving family as her life ended far too soon. She was born on November 22, 1957 in Herculaneum, Missouri, a daughter of Roy and Frances (Pinson) Bergman. She was united in marriage to Allen Choisser on March 10, 1989, who preceded her in death. She is survived by Darrell Lueckenhoff who has been her friend and partner for over 13 years. Tracy always loved anything that had to do with music. Tracy obtained the highest recorded score in history for music assessment at Wentzville Elementary School while she was in the 3rd grade. Tracy graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1976. Tracy was an active member in the JCHS chorale and won the Best In Show while performing an original composition during a JCHS talent show. She assisted with many skits and many other forms of entertainment in her youth. In August 1994, Tracy wrote and produced an original composition called "Two Young Lovers" in honor of her parents. Tracy worked as a secretary for the Missouri National Guard Association, the Missouri Board of Nursing, and also as an administrative assistant to Judge Patricia Joyce at the Division of Child Support Enforcement. Tracy was unforgettable and determined. Her life was filled with many "you'll never believe this" moments and provided more laughter than your cheeks and tummy muscles could bear. You always wanted her on your team. In fact, at 13 years old weighing 125 lbs., Tracy won a bet to her father, Roy Bergman, by carrying him at dead weight 210 lbs. 6'2 up the hill on Mesa Ave. She had all of the neighborhood kids and their parents outside cheering her on. For those of you who are familiar with that hill in Jefferson City, that is quite an achievement and evidence of her physical strength. Tracy was an avid lover of all music, dancing, and laughter. She was a free spirit who had the ability to fill the room with joy. Tracy had Jesus in her heart and it was evident by how charitable and loving she was to others. Tracy was kind and always had a soft spot in her heart for those who felt lost. She was a true friend. Tracy enjoyed spending quality time with all of her precious grandchildren. She was the type of mother who always knew what to say at the right time. The unconditional love and strength that she gave to her children is her legacy that will be passed on for many generations to come. Tracy absolutely loved her sisters: Sue, Laura, and Kelley. She will be forever missed and thought of often. Love you higher than the birds can fly, deeper than the ocean, up to the moon and backand I mean it (and she did). She is survived by her partner: Darrell Lueckenhoff; three daughters: Sarah (Kelly) Tannehill of Jefferson City, Amy (Chris) Miller of Holts Summit, and Kayla (Casey) Jones of Jefferson City; three sisters: Sue (Mike) Logston of Jefferson City, Laura (Ted) Pintcke of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Kelley (Gary) Kuensting of Jefferson City; five grandchildren: Sabrina, Ariana, Xavier, Jayda, and Elijah. Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and husband. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A private family ceremony of inurnment will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Show-Me Christian Youth Home, 24302 Mahin Road, La Monte, MO 65337.
