Lula Case

Lula Case, 89, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Oak Tree Villa. She was born on April 10, 1929 in Jacksonville, Missouri, a daughter of Claude and Helen (Hudson) Gipson. She was united in marriage on June 30, 1951 to Albert Brown Case Jr., who preceded her in death. Lula graduated in 1946 from Northeast High School in Kansas City. She and Al resided in California, Missouri from 1955 until retirement. She was employed in clerical and bookkeeping positions at Ralston Purina, Famers and Traders Bank and the City of California. After retiring they moved to Jefferson City where she spent many years volunteering in various capacities at Capital Region Medical Center. She is survived by her three children: Gary (Kathy) Case of California, Missouri, Larry (Carol) Case of Jefferson City, Janet Keil Miller (John) of St. Martins; grandchildren: Ryan Case, Phillip (Eve) Keil, Scott (Amanda) Keil; great-grandchildren: Avery Keil, Silas Keil and Whitney Keil. Lula was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Walter Gipson. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
