Patsy June Williamson

Patsy June Williamson, age 66, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 10, 1952 in Meta, Mo., the daughter of Beryl and Pauline (Libbert) Imsland. She was married on November 13, 1971 in Holts Summit, Mo. to Terry Williamson who survives at the home. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Patsy graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1970 and later attended Lincoln University. Patsy was employed for 38 years with the Missouri Department of Revenue. She dealt with corporate taxes in the Compliance Department until her retirement in 2007. Patsy attended the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, Mo. She was a Red Cross donor, making blood donations for over 30 years which helped so many people. As a master quilter, Patsy donated numerous quilts to charity including Calvary Gifts. Patsy enjoyed traveling and spent many hours on the back of her husband's Harley Davidson going from coast to coast and to Canada. They also enjoyed many cruises through the Caribbean, Pacific and Atlantic oceans and also went through the Panama Canal three times. Some of Patsy's fondest memories were spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren - squirt gun fights were her favorite! She loved playing with all of them and they will miss her dearly. Survivors include: her loving husband of 47 years, Terry Williamson; her children, Christopher Williamson (Lisa) of Holts Summit, Mo. and Desari Williamson (Steve Callais); her grandchildren, Ryan Williamson (Brianna) and Nicole Rehagen (Eddie); her great-grandchildren, Lane Williamson and Emma Williamson; her siblings, Jaqueline Thompson of Centertown, Mo., Shirley Downing (John) of Brazito, Mo. and Rick Imsland (Kathy) of Rocky Mount, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews, including Allie and Kris Karnes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beryl and Pauline Imsland; Donna Carter (sister); and Darryl Imsland (brother); and an infant sister. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Freeman Mortuary. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019 in the Freeman Chapel with Gara Loskill officiating. Interment will be conducted at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
