Shirley Marie Otto, 59, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at her residence. She was born February 3, 1959, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Harry Anton and Mary Catherine (Schaefer) Otto. She was a 1977 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia. Shirley worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue in the Taxation Division as a clerk for 37 years retiring March 1, 2015. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, dancing, traveling, and bowling. Survivors include her father, Harry Otto, Westphalia; four siblings, Carolyn Otto, Jefferson City; Ronald Otto, Jefferson City; Brenda (Edward) Stewart, New Bloomfield; Sharon Otto, Jefferson City; five nieces and nephews, Shawn Otto, Shaylyn Otto, Sarah Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, Rachel Stewart; and one great-niece, Myah Jablonske. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Otto; and a brother, Gerald Otto. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with the Rev. Daniel J. Merz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Shirley Otto's family.
