Mary Magdalene Lepper

Mary Magdalene Lepper, 89, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1929, in Etterville, Missouri; a daughter of Bulcer and Gertrude (Honepohl) Thomas. She was united in marriage to William Clement Lepper on October 9, 1948, who preceded her in death. Mary was a 1947 graduate of Eldon High School. She was a wonderful homemaker who also was the bookkeeper for the family business. Mary taught piano for over 50 years. Her last piano lesson was in December of 2018. She and William were active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved to trout fish. She was a member of the Eagles Club Auxiliary and Lady of Sodality. She was an active member of St. Peter's Church for over 50 years and participated in the Perpetual Adoration every week for over 30 years. She is survived by her sons: Chad (Vicky) Lepper of Eugene, Alan (Norma) Lepper of Eugene; grandchildren; Melissa (Jeff) Rothenberger of St. Peters, Joseph M.R. Crall of Eugene, Jessica (Ray) Bishop of Eugene, Danielle (Michael) Malone of Lake Ozarks, and Kelly Lepper of Jefferson City; great-grandchildren: Anthony (Jessica) Myers of St. Peters, Ashley Myers of St. Louis, Aaron Myers, St. Louis, Landon Bishop of Rolla, Adreanna Crall of Linn Creek, Lucas Crall of Linn Creek, and Ike Malone of Lake Ozarks; great-great-grandchild; Annabelle Myers of St. Peters. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
