Larry Wayne Kreutz, 47, of Columbia, passed away at Boone Hospital Center on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. He was born in Columbia on July 9, 1971, the son of Lawrence Kreutz and the late Dorothy Lee (Watson) Kreutz. Larry worked in Inside Sales for French Gerleman Electric. His hobbies included shooting pool, camping, fishing, and target shooting. He was proud to serve as a Boy Scout leader. Larry's passion was collecting money to fight childhood cancer with the Hooligan's Charitable Riding Group. When he was young, he loved spending time with his Grandpa and Grandma Kreutz working on the farm. Those remaining to cherish his memory include sons, Jerry Kreutz, and Lucas Kreutz, both of Columbia; father, Lawrence Kreutz of Columbia; sisters, Kerrie Smith (Robert) of Montgomery City, Dianna Harmon (Scott) of Columbia, and Cheryl Pokorny (Eric) of Aurora, Ill. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Please come as you are, Larry always did. Inurnment will follow in Portland Cemetery.
