Jess Russell Prater

Jess Russell Prater, age 67, of Freedom, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019, at University Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia. Survivors include: his wife, Tamira; son, Joshua Prater (wife Alison); daughters, Jessica Prater, Rebecca Rost (husband Brian), Brandi Prater, and Kandiss Hoffman (husband Zebulon); brothers, James, Jeffrey, Brian and Bradley Prater; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Zion St. Peter United Church of Christ in Pershing. Inurnment will be held at a later date. www.mortonchapel.com
