Gerald "Tom" Trammell

Gerald "Tom" Trammell, age 68, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019, at his home. Tom was born August 20, 1951, in Ford Dodge, Iowa. While Tom lived in Iowa, he opened a construction company, Trammell Roofing and Home Improvement from 1979 to 2002. Tom then moved to Missouri to be closer to his children and grandchildren and started T&T Construction from 2002-2012. Tom enjoyed being on the river, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He does have family in Iowa. Survivors include son: Jeremy Trammell; daughter: Jill Lucas; three grandsons: Taylor Bowlds, Skyler Lucas, and Jeremiah Trammell; three granddaughters: Madison Lucas, Jesse Trammell; and Annabelle Trammell; two great-granddaughters: Nicolle Stephen and Zoei Bowlds; nephew, Dan Trammell, all from Holts Summit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Corrine Trammell; sister, Rita; and granddaughter, Ariel L. Cole. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, April 15, at The Civic Center in Holts Summit behind the ball field. There will be speaker and lots of memories to share.
