Roger L. Brumley

Roger L. Brumley, 60, of Jefferson City, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1958, in Jefferson City, a son of Wilfred and Irene (Jeffries) Brumley. He was united in marriage on February 14, 2015, at Faith Lutheran Church to Phyllis McKittrick. Roger was a 1976 graduate of Jefferson City High School. After graduation, he worked for Schulte's IGA. Roger was currently employed with WalMart where he has served many friends and neighbors for over 25 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693. Roger enjoyed boating on the lake and visiting wineries. He was a "Mr. Fix-It" and enjoyed tinkering on projects. Most of all, he loved his family. Roger is survived by his wife: Phyllis; daughter: Jessica Brumley (David) of Jefferson City; mother: Irene Brumley of Jefferson City; siblings: Linda Jefferson (George) of St. Louis, Elaine Hernandez (David) of Bonnots Mill and Mary Callahan (Richard) of Jefferson City; step-mother: Bertha Brumley of Bakersfield; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. He was preceded in death by his father: Wilfred Brumley and twin sister: Rose Marie Griffith. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be private for the family.
