David Lee Martin Sr., 34, Kansas City, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, in Springfield, Mo. David was born December 31, 1983, in Jefferson City, Mo. He was the youngest of nine. If you ask David's mom or anyone that knew him, they would tell you that he was the most energetic person. He was so full of life and love. He was most passionate about his children, the New York Giants, fishing, sports, and any sort of competition. His passion for his children drove him every day. He loved to teach them that every day was an adventure. There was always a story for them or a lesson in entrepreneurship. There was never a shortage of fun when David was around. David's compassion was very obvious when he was around. He always believed in second chances. He preached that mistakes don't define you. He also had a talent for making you feel like the most important person in the room, no matter what walk of life you were on. He saw the value in everyone and was a truly unforgettable person. David is survived by his mother, Alma Martin and is welcomed with open arms by his late father Henry D. Martin. He is also survived by his wife, Carrie Martin of Kansas City; his children, Kailee Martin, Dakiah Langford, Nydhea Martin, David Martin II, Damari Kuhn, Tyren Medley, Karmyn Esther, and Kahlil Martin; his partner in crime, Kelsey Kelm; his eight siblings, Roma and Andrew Erb, LaDonna and Sidwell Nkosi, Henry and Dorinda Martin, Cindy Martin, Matthew Martin, Steven and Melinda Martin, Monte and Chantel Hardge, and Ronald and Rachel Martin; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
