Alice T. Neville, 83, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at River City Living Community, attended to by the care of family and the staff of River City and Hospice. Born on June 22, 1935 in Jefferson City, Missouri, she was a daughter of Anton H. and Sophia (Bauer) Wilbers. She married John (Jack) F. Neville of New York, in Oslo, Norway in March 1959. Alice was a graduate of Fatima High School. She was one of six siblings raised at the gas station and café in Westphalia. She started helping the family by waiting tables and talking with customers, even at eight years old. Alice enjoyed cooking, and loved traveling and spending time with friends and family. Her Catholic faith was central in her life and she was extremely devoted. She is survived by three brothers; Dr. Raymond Wilbers (Karen), Mexico, Mo.; LaSalette Brother Roman Wilbers, Jasper, Texas; Robert L. Wilbers (Mary), Linn, Mo.; and a sister, Kathleen Koch, Pine, Colo. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (2014) and one brother: James Wilbers (Nov. 1957). Alice greatly cared for and was delighted by her nieces and nephews: Chris, Susan, Julie, and John, and Angela, Aaron, and Jude. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Dan Merz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Westphalia. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Joseph Parish in Westphalia or the Vitae Foundation.
