Michelle Lea Massman

Michelle Lea Massman, 58, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born December 20, 1959, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a daughter of Herman F. and Mary E. "Betty" (Kremer) Massman. Michelle graduated from Blair Oaks High School in 1979. She enjoyed babysitting and she worked at the Missouri Department of Agriculture, St. Mary's Hospital, Chastains of Jefferson City, and Sheltered Workshop. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She is survived by her father and step-mother: Herman F. and Sharon Massman of Wardsville; one sister: Yvonne Hohensinner of Independence; three brothers: Richard Massman of Wardsville; Rodney (Valerie) Massman of Columbia; Matthew (Christina) Massman of Jefferson City; one step-sister: Kari (Kevin) Bruns of Wardsville; two step-brothers: Bryan (Mary) Martin of Pleasant Hill; Christopher (Kelly) Martin of St. Martins; and many nieces and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her mother: Mary E. "Betty" Massman. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville, with Fr. Ignazio Medina officiating. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
