Ms. Pauline V. Rea, age 94 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Adams Street Place Nursing Center. Pauline was born February 21, 1924, in Brazito, Mo., the daughter of Earl and Dorothy Long Hogg. She was married in 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas to Royal Wayne Rea who preceded her in death in 1981. A homemaker for most of her life, Pauline had been employed with the Cramer Chair Company in Kansas City for 23 years prior to her retirement in 1989. A resident of the Jefferson City area since 2003, she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Survivors include: three daughters, Sharon S. Brimage and her husband John of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Janet E. Tovar of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Millicent C. Purple and her husband Terry of Lee's Summit, Mo.; one sister, Joan Roark of Jefferson City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband and one sister, Velma Long. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness at 185 Northstar Drive, Holts Summit, Mo. with Mr. William Lane officiating. Private graveside services and interment will be at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Hickory Hill, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 900 Red Mills Road, Wallkill, New York 12589-5200.
