Margaret G. (Johnston) Gier

Margaret G. (Johnston) Gier, 78, of Eldon, passed away March 19, 2018, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Jefferson City. Margaret was born March 16, 1940, in Linn Creek, the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie (Luttrell) Johnston. She is survived by a son, Dan Gier (wife Stacy) of Lake Ozark; daughter, Sandra Gier and Greg Pruitt of Jefferson City; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; five brothers, John, James, Kenny, Larry and Rayborn Johnston, three sisters: Lois Leffert, Thelma Howell and Nancy Murrell. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018, from 12 - 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, with the Funeral Service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
