Bertha Ruth Pittman Walker Moore

Mrs. Bertha Ruth Pittman Walker Moore, 87, of Jefferson City, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2018. She was born on May 25, 1930, in Macon, Mississippi, to the late Landon and Annie Pittman. Bertha was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi, and moved her membership to Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie, Missouri. Bertha Moore's life is celebrated by her loving and devoted family. She is survived by three daughters: JoAnn (Terry) Drungo, Bettye (Jerry) Brewer, and Sandra (Joe) Jimmerson; four sons: Jerry (Diane) Walker, Alonzo (Rose) Walker, Charles (Vera) Moore, and Areo Lamont (Jodi) Walker; 24 grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. She has one living brother in Birmingham, Alabama, Artest Pittman (Mary). She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Greetings will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Oak Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie, Missouri, followed by a memorial prayer service at 12:00 p.m.
