James L. Wilmeno

James 'Jim' L. Wilmeno, age 78, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1939, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Leo Willmeno and Mamie 'Manes' Willmeno. Jim was a property manager for many years. He was a proud volunteer for the Salvation Army for over 30 years. He enjoyed antiquing, traveling, volunteer work, and caring for his special pet: Lady. Jim is survived by two daughters: Linda Luther of New Bloomfield, Charlotte Wilmeno of New Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Jane Backes of Jefferson City, Betty O'Neil of Fulton, Jackie Surface of Jefferson City; one brother: Herbert Willmeno Sr. of Jefferson City; his loving and caring companion: Roberta Gibbs; and Debbie Wilmeno. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Jean Bonnot, Bonnie Hoglan, Marilyn Bunch. Funeral services will be Wednesday March 14, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Old Paths Baptist Church - St. Mary's Blvd., Jefferson City, MO. with Pastor Allen Golden officiating.
