Frances Susanna Tankersley

Frances Susanna Tankersley, 99, Fortuna, MO, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, peacefully at her home. Frances is survived by six children: Paul Tankersley (Dorothy) of Versailles, John Tankersley (Georgene) of Fortuna, Sarah Williams (Jack) of Versailles, George Tankersley (Kathy) of Gravois Mills, Dale Tankersley (Kathy) of Syracuse, and Lynn Beasley (David) of Marietta, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild. A celebration of her life will be Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with graveside services immediately following at the Newkirk Cemetery near Fortuna. There will be a brief visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
