Sherry Lynn Wheeler

Sherry Lynn Wheeler, 56, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at Lexington Square Health Resource Center in Keokuk, Iowa. She was born May 26, 1962, in Peoria, Illinois, a daughter of Jerry Aronhalt and Beverly (Cox) Crutchfield. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. Sherry was united in marriage on June 19, 1995, in Jefferson City to Bob Wheeler, who survives at the home. Sherry was a stay at home mom who later worked for many healthcare facilities and became the housekeeping supervisor at Summit Villa in Holts Summit. She enjoyed ice cream and being with family and friends. The light of her life were her children, grandchildren and family. Along with her husband Bob, Sherry is also survived by her four children: Brandon Aronhalt (wife Frances) of Bloomington, Illinois; Jeffrey Carlson of Jefferson City; Dylan Wheeler of Holts Summit and Cassidy Wheeler of Holts Summit; her mother: Beverly Crutchfield of Jefferson City; three grandchildren: Sydnee Carlson, Kynlee Carlson and Adam Aronhalt; and several nieces and nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her father: Jerry Aronhalt; and two sisters: Terry Conner and Brenda Ellison. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. L.P. Cook III officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
