Daniel Joseph Haines, age 40, of Westphalia, departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his residence near Westphalia. He was born on November 26, 1977, at Springfield, in Green County, a son of Billie Edward and Drucilla Renee (Samons) Haines. Daniel had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and had followed his Lord in baptism. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, enjoyed shooting, various types of games, and golfing. He was employed in the warehouse of Quaker Window Products Company, Freeburg, at the time of his passing. Those left to mourn the passing of Daniel include: his son, Preston Palmer, of Centerview; his parents, Bill and Dru Haines, of Westphalia; his brother, Justin Haines and wife, Diana, of Argyle; his nephews, Kayden and Billie; his paternal grandfather, Bill J. Haines, of Lebanon; special people in his life, Audrey Hoefer of Alexandria, Minnesota; and Jesse Haller of Kansas City, Kansas; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gloria (Murphy) Haines; and maternal grandparents Albert and LouVerne (Feda) Samons. Visitation for Daniel will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday evening, June 12, 2018, and 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582. Funeral services for Daniel will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Slocum, First Baptist Church, Vienna, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the New Hope Cemetery, Long Lane, Missouri, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Serving as pallbearers will be Trent Quinn, Jesse Haller, Adam Massman, William Orschlen, Tim Ray, and Dennis Dains. Memorial contributions in memory of Daniel are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the funeral home or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O.
