Gregory L. Harrison

Gregory L. Harrison, 63, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City. He was born December 17, 1954, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of the late Thomas Morgan and Billie Jean Harrison. He was a graduate of Manuel High School in Kansas City, Mo., and went on to proudly attend Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. Despite having only one arm, Gregory persevered and loved to play his guitar and also enjoyed playing chess. Gregory is survived by two daughters: Leslie Galbreath and Robin Morris; one son: Collan Harrison; one brother: Michael Harrison; four sisters: Carolyn Kemp (Roger), Felicia Thielen (Jerry), Beverly Webb and Sharon Webb; three grandchildren: Lakeasha K. Long, Joseph Long and Domninque Morris. He was preceded in death by his mother: Billie Jean Harrison; grandmother: Mamie Harrison; and grandfather: Ervin Harrison. The family will conduct a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Jefferson City.
