Nora Rissler

Nora Rissler, 85, of Barnett, Missouri, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at her home. She was born November 15, 1932, in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Horst) Martin. She married Abram H. Rissler on November 17, 1955, in Lancaster County. He survives of the home. She was a member of Hopewell Mennonite Church near Barnett. In addition to her husband she is survived by: four sons, Reuben M. Rissler (Eva Mae), Aaron M. Rissler (Elenor), Alvin M. Rissler (Mabel), and Marvin M. Rissler all of Barnett, Missouri; six daughters, (Ella) Mrs. Christian Rissler of Dorchester Wisconsin, Alta Rissler of Barnett, (Vera) Mrs. Norman Kilmer of Barnett, (Anna Mae) Mrs. Lester Martin of Barnett, (Norma) Mrs. Jonas Leinbach of Versailles, Missouri, (Miriam) Mrs. Peter Zimmerman of Versailles; 60 grandchildren and 79 great- grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Harvey Rissler and two daughters Edna and Etta Rissler. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 21, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the family home. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. on Monday January 22, 2018, at Hopewell Mennonite Church Barnett, Missouri with Harry Leinbach, Ivan Hurst, Curvin Zimmerman and Raymond Shirk officiating. Interment will be at the Hopewell Mennonite Church Cemetery Barnett, Missouri.
