Michael Vincent Moscato, 30, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018, in Jefferson City. He was born December 31, 1987, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Michael Anthony Moscato and Lisa Rose Allee. He was a 2006 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He was united in marriage in August of 2014, to Tallie Elizabeth Handley who survives. Michael worked as a chef for various restaurants throughout central Missouri. He also helped his family working at River City Florist. Michael was an avid and proud fan of Chicago Cubs baseball and Duke University basketball, loved to play soccer, and spend time playing with his niece Silvia and his pug Jasmine. Survivors include his mother, Lisa (Roger) Ordway, Jefferson City; his father, Mike (Angel) Moscato, Jefferson City; his sister, Lauren Moscato, Jefferson City; one niece, Silvia Bealer, Jefferson City; paternal grandmother, Norma Moscato, Chicago, Ill.; eight aunts and uncles, Linda Allee, Janet (Carl) Ousley, Jennifer (Charlie) Moeller, Judy Bax, Tony Moscato, Linda (Donald) Gow, Ed (Barb) Moscato, Paul Moscato; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 9-11 a.m. at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
