Eula Mae Rustemeyer, 92, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Grandville Villa Assisted Living in La Vista, Nebraska. She was born October 29, 1925, in Iberia, Missouri, a daughter of Leonard McCubbin and Thelma M. Forester. She was joined in marriage to Francis "Rusty" Rustemeyer on May 22, 1948. Eula graduated from Brumley High School and worked briefly for Tweedie Shoe Factory, where she met Rusty. She enjoyed cooking, canning and gardening, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with, and caring for, her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Robert (Mary) Rustemeyer of Raymore, Mo.; her daughter, JoAnn (Ron) Welch of Papillion, Neb.; three brothers: Norman McCubbin of Eugene, Mo., Waid McCubbin of Iberia, Mo., and Donald (Loretta) McCubbin of Iberia, Mo.; four sisters: Martha Jean Fletcher of Holts Summit, Mo., Lorene Woods of Jefferson City, Mo., Lora Lee (Jim) Barlow of Iberia, Mo. and Darlene (Eugene) Groff of Chillicothe, Ill.; six grandchildren: Stacia (Eddie) Jarzobski, Ryan (Tracie) Welch, Jenna Welch, Lauren (Nick) Sears, Brett Rustemeyer and Joe Rustemeyer; and five great-grandchildren: Katelyn Jarzobski, Alexis Jarzobski, Kenzie Jarzobski, Ryder Welch and Gracelyn Welch. Eula was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother: Wayne McCubbin. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
