Marceline J. Faulkner, 69, of Jefferson City passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born on April 1, 1948 in Freeburg, Missouri, the daughter of George and Gertrude (Schwartz) Wieberg, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on October 23, 1971 in Freeburg to Robert P. Luebbert and then was united in marriage to Maynard E. Faulkner on February 10, 1996 in Holts Summit, who preceded her in death on June 10, 2000. She was a 1966 graduate of Maries R-1 High School in Vienna. She then worked for the State of Missouri Bureau for the Blind from 1966-1974. She was a full- time child care provider to many children for many years and then worked for the Missouri Farm Bureau from 1991 until her retirement in 2013. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Peter Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church Choir and volunteered with the Samaritan Center. Marcie enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Mizzou Basketball and Football. She was the #1 coach and fan for all of her children's sporting events. She enjoyed coaching Softball and at one time played Volleyball. She took pleasure in the outdoors and frequently went fishing at the family pond. She also spent time traveling with family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who spent every moment being a part of her children and grandchildren's lives. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the memories they made will forever be cherished. She is survived by two sons: William E. (Christina) Luebbert and Daniel A.(Ariel) Luebbert, two daughters: Carolyn A. (Clinton) Heidbrink and Brenda G. Luebbert; one sister: Alvina Collins; four brothers: Fred (Phyllis) Wieberg, Gerard Wieberg, Arnold (Joyce) Wieberg, Felix (Laura) Wieberg; one sister-in-law: Millie Wieberg and nine grandchildren: Erica Walters, Abby Walters, Alec Walters, Brendan Walters, Gannon Heidbrink, Lacey Heidbrink, Henry Luebbert, Beth Luebbert, and Matthew Luebbert and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: one brother: Virgil Wieberg and one brother-in-law: James Collins. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Mueller officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Don Antweiler officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Jefferson City. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Special Learning Center, St. Peter Catholic School, and Samaritan Center.
