Edward Paul Maier

Edward Paul Maier, age 50, of Brazito, Mo., passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born April 24, 1967, in Cole County, the son of August Maier Jr. and Pauline (Weber) Maier, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Eugene High School and Tri-County Tech. He was a lifelong farmer and also worked at Cole County R-I School in Russellville. Ed willingly helped anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include: two brothers; David Maier (Debra) and Gary Maier (Marilyn) of Brazito, Mo.; six nieces and nephews, Matthew, Becky Otwell (Austin), Jennifer (son Simon), Maisie, Alexander, and Kordel. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Friedens United Church of Christ, Brazito, Mo. with Pastor A. Wendell Stoneburner officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Friedens United Church of Christ.
