Helen B. Bradley, age 89 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at St. Josephs Bluffs Senior Living. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Fulton, Mo., the daughter of A. Dewey and Louise (Moser) Bridges. She was married on October 4, 1946 in Fulton, Mo. to Stanley M. "Sonny" Bradley, who preceded her in death on December 27, 2005. Helen was a 1946 graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton, Mo. Helen moved to Jefferson City in 1952 and began work at General Motors Acceptance Corp. (GMAC) in Jefferson City, Mo. She was employed with GMAC for over 30 years until her retirement in 1985 as a Customer Representative. She was a past member of Community Christian Church. Helen always enjoyed traveling with Sonny and they were fortunate enough to visit Alaska, Hawaii and several trips to the Caribbean. She loved being outdoors tending to her flowers, reading and time with friends. She was a caring person that was always willing to help others. Helen will be remembered for her sense of humor and her way of always making the best of any situation. Survivors include: one brother-in-law, Joe Rothermich of Benson, Arizona; four nephews, Larry Jones (wife Janice) of Kansas City, Mo., Donald Heinrich (wife Peggy) of Jefferson City, Mo., Ed Heinrich (wife Barbara) of Tebbetts, Mo. and Dan Heinrich (wife Debbie) of Jefferson City, Mo.; three nieces, Sherry Pry (husband Bob) of El Paso, Texas, Lisa McKee (husband Wayne) of Round Rock, Texas, and Ronda Johnston (husband Ron) of Tucson, Ariz.; and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruth Heinrich; an infant brother, Tommy Bridges; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Rothermich and Edith Shaw; and two nephews, Bill Heinrich and Dale Shaw. Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in the Freeman Chapel. Graveside services and interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
