Larry Twitchell, 75, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was born in Fulton on September 21, 1942, the son of the late Aubrey Twitchell and the late Erma Kathryn (Masek) Twitchell. Larry made his living as a truck driver and also drove busses for country singers. Larry also served as Police Chief in Auxvasse. He could play the guitar and was an expert knife sharpener. He enjoyed nice cars. Larry will best be remembered as an excellent story teller. Those remaining to cherish his memory include daughter, Beverly Hildreth; sisters, Mae King (Jerry), Barbara Turner (Sid Simcoe), brother-in-law, David Turner; nieces; Missy Spencer (Bryan), Cindy Harris (Jake), Julie Harris-Whalen (Mark), Charlotte Hicks (Steve), Katy Flowers (Micah), April Courtway (Justin), Mae Billingsley (Tim), Britney Garnett (Jordan), Danielle Platt (Alex); granddaughters, Cami Wiser-Hildreth and Megan Hildreth; and several great-nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by sister, Erma Harris; nephew, Michael Gilmore; and son-in-law, Dean Wiser. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastors Mike Crowson and Bruce Williamson officiating. Memorial donations are suggested to Harmony Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
