Darrell Lee "Bo" Ranabargar, 78, of Centertown, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Adams Street Place, Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born on February 12, 1939, in Eldon, the son of the late Earl Stanley and Pearl Edna (Ackres) Ranabargar. He was united in marriage on February 8, 1958, at the Centertown Baptist Church to Glenda Louise Swearingen who survives at the home. Bo retired in February 2001 as Central Maintenance Director for City of Jefferson after 11 years of service. He began his career working at Todd Hogg Ford-California and later worked at Schantzmeyer Ford-Jefferson City, which is now Joe Machens Capital City Ford. He worked as both a mechanic and service manager. Bo loved spending time with his family and helping others. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending their retirement together wintering in southern Texas. He had a love for NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals, and fishing. He was a member of the Centertown Baptist Church and worshiped God by singing in the choir. Other survivors include a son, Dan Ranabargar, Russellville; three grandchildren, Derek (Courtney) Ranabargar, Holts Summit; Erika Leonard, Jefferson City; and Jon (fianc Katlyn Heuer) Lueckenotte, Holts Summit; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Cooper, Brendan, Hunter, and a fifth great-grandchild due in March; and a sister, Mary (Alfred) Kirkweg, Centertown. Bo was preceded in death by a daughter, Leanna Dee Lueckenotte; a brother, Jim Ranabargar; and three sisters, Gloria Miller, Jackie Knerschield, and Margrette Watts. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Centertown Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Bickel officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Centertown Baptist Church, 1213 Broadway, P.O. Box 98, Centertown, Missouri 65023. Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of arrangements.
