Linda "Sue" Grellner, age 61, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis from complications of Leukemia. Linda was born March 31, 1956, in Granite City, Ill, a daughter to the late Bill Perry and Donna (McKee) Perry who survives of Iberia. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Iberia High School. On February 14, 1994, she was united in marriage to Douglas Grellner in Hot Springs, Ark. He survives of the home. Linda was employed at Maytag in Jefferson City where she met her husband, Doug. She also cleaned houses and until breast cancer and leukemia kept her from working she was employed at Thriftway in Linn. Linda loved to work. She always had a smile for everyone and enjoyed her co-workers. Linda loved farm life, gardening, nature and being outside. She enjoyed all her dogs and animals but her dog, Lassie held a special place. Linda's greatest love was her family and cooking for them. She just loved to make people smile and could never say no to Doug buying another Allis-Chalmers tractor. In addition to her mother and spouse of 23 years, Linda is survived by: two daughters, Loni Clawson and her husband Mike of Iberia and Molly Ann Grellner of the home; one son, Trampus Rowden and his wife Angie of Iberia; and five grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney Perry and his wife Sandy of Iberia, Jim Perry and his wife Mara of St Louis; two sisters, Debbie Wiles and her husband Ronnie, Kristy Elsberrie and husband Boper all of Iberia; two step-brothers, Paul and Todd Nave as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Bill and her step-father Bob Nave as well as a sister-in-law Kim (Grellner) Kremer. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with Fr. William Debo as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Linda Grellner Memorial Fund.
