Rose Marie Reinsch, 74, of Wardsville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17, 2017, at The Arbors in Jefferson City, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 26, 1943 in Taos, the daughter of Clarence and Alma (Raithel) Rackers, who preceded her in death. She began her 56 year love story with Jerome Reinsch on October 14, 1961 in Taos, Missouri. Their love was an inspiration to all who witnessed it. She was a 1961 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia and after high school, she lovingly stayed home and started a beautiful family. After the children were raised and they moved onto a new chapter in their lives, she went to work for the Missouri League for Nursing as an Administrative Assistant. She served faithfully in that position for 24 years until her retirement. Rose was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, she bragged about them constantly and gave them the strength and encouragement they needed in all of their sporting activities and their daily life. She and Jerome never missed a game and were always their #1 fan. Rose enjoyed playing games with her family, especially Shanghai Rummy. They met monthly with a very close group of friends and traveled the world for many years with them. Rose's love for children was like that of our Holy Mother Mary. She enjoyed being a CYO Adult Leader for many years and helped shape the lives of all the children she met. She was a faith-filled woman who loved the Lord and was a faithful parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Jerome; two sons: Dean (Debbie) Reinsch of Columbia and Doug (Angie) Reinsch of Kirksville; four daughters: Kim Morff of Lohman, Rhonda (Dan) Struemph of Wardsville, Bonnie (Eric) LeCuru of Wardsville and Lori (Joe) Lopez of Wardsville; two brothers: Glenn (Betty) Rackers and Leon (Linda) Rackers; four sisters: Del Prenger, Grace (Roy) Blank, Janet Kauffman and Carol Ricks; three sisters-in-law: Jean Rackers, Ruth Copenbarger, and Dorothy Huhn; three brothers-in-law: Orville Stegeman, Eddie (Kathy) Reinsch and Norb (Renie) Reinsch; 17 grandchildren: Chrissy, Jessica (Tyler), Ryan (Carrie), Jason (Abby), Megan (Zach), Kyle, Lindsey (Seth), Shelby (Austin), Zach, Colby, Libby, Ellie, Lucas, Isaac, Sam, Jacob, and Eli; eight great-grandchildren: Breanna, Haley, Jada, Macy, Mariah, Austin, Jack, and Will. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Norbert Rackers and Harold Rackers; one sister: Linda Stegeman; and four brothers-in-law: Leon Prenger, Ray Kauffman, Dale Ricks, and Clarence Huhn. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Entombment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Mausoleum.
