She retired as an art teacher at Conway High School in Conway, Ark., having inspired students in art and creativity for 25 years. She enjoyed her personal Bible devotionals, walks along the beach, traveling and spending time with her beloved grandchildren: Lexy, Sophie, Cooper, Larkin, Casen, Kylinn and Emersyn. Nancy is survived by her husband, Colonel Larry W. Matthews (Ret.) U.S. Army; and her five children: Kent Schreiber (Sabrina), Christin Bridges (Jarod), Billy Don Kenney (Brooke), Stephen Kenney Jr. (Terri) and Shannon Harvey (Mike). She is also survived by her sister, Pamela Fesler (Chip Kigar), her in-laws, Jack and Pauline Matthews, and her faithful companion, Zeus. In lieu of flowers, a Nancy Fesler-Matthews Scholarship has been established on Go Fund Me by her son-in-law, Jarod Bridges. This scholarship will annually benefit a Conway High School senior pursuing a degree in the arts. To donate, please visit: www.GoFundMe.com/nancy-feslermatthews-scholarship
