Wayne A. Harrell

Dr. Wayne A. Harrell, age 84, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Joplin Gardens, following an illness. Wayne was a music educator at Lakin, Kan., Belle Plaine, Kan., Wichita High School West, Pittsburg State University, and Missouri Southern State University. He retired from MSSU in 1995 after 25 years of teaching. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Joplin, Missouri. The visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
