Dale Wayne Cramer, 79, of Chamois, Mo., passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge. Dale was born in Morrison, Missouri on December 26, 1937, a son of the late Charles Clarence and Matilda (Wenger) Cramer. Dale proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Morrison, Missouri, M.F.A. of Morrison and the Organ Transplant Support Group at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis. Dale farmed the family farm with his parents and his brother Kenneth. He was very compassionate about the earth we lived on and protecting the soil and the environment. He also enjoyed studying and investing in the stock market. Dale is survived by two sisters-in-law, Julia Cramer, of Columbia, Missouri and Pat Cramer, of Jefferson City, Missouri; by four nieces, Cindy Graves and husband Lynn, of Jefferson City, Christine Keilholz, of Columbia, Missouri, Lisa Anthony and husband Brant, of Jefferson City, Missouri and Caroline Cramer, of Washington D.C.; by a nephew, Keith Cramer and wife Betty, of Columbia, Missouri; and by eight great-nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Kenneth, Richard and Charles Cramer. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. James United Church of Christ, Morrison, Missouri, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Ron Stair officiating. Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery, Morrison, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Heart Transplant Association of St. Louis. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
