Louis E. Wilson

Louis E Wilson, 90, of Henley, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital. He was born February 21, 1926, in Marionville, Missouri, the son of the late Louis and Gladys (Forbes) Wilson. He was united in marriage to Laura Jean Weisenburg. She preceded him in death on March 24, 1996. Louis proudly served his county in the United States Navy during World War II where he was a Seabee. He is survived by two daughters: Vicki Hoogveld (Robert) and Debbie Robinett (Ronald); two sisters: Reva Dean Schoessel and Norma Lee Hedges; six grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son: Gregory Louis Wilson and one brother, Paul Leon Wilson. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
