Maxine Barnes

Maxine Barnes, 88, of Eldon, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at her residence near Eldon. She was born September 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Willie and Della (Denton) Davis. On October 17, 1951, she married Millard Emerson Barnes who preceded her in death on September 18, 1998. Survivors include: sons, Jack Thomure, Millard Barnes Jr., Thomas Barnes; daughter, Diana Barnes; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and brother, Jackie Davis. Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2017, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, with the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
