Jeanne Carol Castic, age 87, of High Point, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, in Eldon, Missouri. She was born in Chicago, Ill. on April 26, 1929. She married the love of her life, Thomas Castic, on June 11, 1949, and they had three darling daughters. Jeanne was a loving wife and an amazing mother. She dedicated her life to her family and homemaking. She enjoyed sewing for her children and herself, studying art, oil painting, gardening, reading, and walking in the woods with Tom and her family. Tom and Jeanne retired to High Point, Missouri and built their home there. They loved the community, their little "farm" and the happy life they had together. Survivors include her sister, Patricia O'Connor of Palm Desert, California; her daughters, Kathy (Howard) Wishnie of Virginia City, Montana and Sue (Dennis) Feezor of High Point, Missouri. Jeanne has five grandchildren, Jessica Stokes, Gabe Wishnie, Matthew Baldwin, Liz Bell and Rebecca Willison; and two great-grandchildren, Mekayla Baldwin and Severian Baldwin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and her daughter, Carol Marie Baldwin. Jeanne was such a loving Mom and Grandma, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be 1-1:45 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2017, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery in rural High Point. Memorials are suggested to the Union Cemetery, 61176 Union Ford Road, California, Missouri 65018. Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.
