Michael Joseph Boillot

Michael Joseph Boillot, age 48 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Mo. Michael was born on August 1, 1969 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of William J. and Sandra M. (Wilson) Boillot. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Michael attended Jefferson City High School and the University of Missouri at Columbia. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, coins, and military medals. He loved listening to music, especially the Beach Boys, books on tape and going to the casino on his birthday. Michael was a member and had been baptized at First Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Survivors include: his mother, Sandra Boillot of Jefferson City, Mo.; his uncle, James P. "Jim" Wilson and his wife Sue of Ashland, Mo.; several cousins; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Sara (Freeman) Wilson. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2017. Private graveside services and interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. Doyle Sager officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jefferson City Salvation Army, 927 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101; the National Federation for the Blind, 200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, MD 21230; or the American Heart Association, 104 Corporate Lake Drive, Columbia, MO 65203.
