Michael Cornett

Michael "Shorty" Cornett, 67, of Eldon, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born May 9, 1949, the son of the late Claude and Patricia (Washburn) Cornett. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Cornett; son, Eric Cornett and wife Emily; sister, Cynthia Kidwell and husband Dennis; brothers, Tom and Mark Cornett; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Eldon City Cemetery with Pastor Trevor Hayes officiating.
