Jason Mark Bair, 35, of Jefferson City, Mo., departed this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Jason attended elementary and secondary schools in Beckley, W.V., and later was a student at both Marshall University and the Huntington Junior College, majoring in computer science and data base management. He held a variety of jobs over the years from food service to white hat hacking, but his main passions included physics and computer science. While in Huntington, W.V., Jason was a proud resident and leader at the Oxford House and a faithful member of AA and NA, whose recovery brothers and sisters mourn his loss deeply. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Huntington and has always considered Trinity his true home church. He is survived by his loving wife, best friend, and fellow geek, Alexia Denson Bair, and children Lucas (3) and Elora (6 months), at home. Also surviving him are his brother, Christopher Bair; his parents, Garry and Diana Bair; his special aunt, Anita Goins; his godfather, John T. Ritter, and many other relatives and friends in Beckley and Huntington, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, Jason's family suggests that contributions be made to First Assembly of God, Jefferson City, MO in memory of Jason Bair. A memorial service for Jason was held for his W.V. family on Saturday, September 17, in Beckley, W.V., and a funeral will take place on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the Governor's Gardens, Jefferson City, Mo., as weather permits.
