Susan L Wilkerson

Susan L. Wilkerson, 48, of California, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at her residence in California, Missouri, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 8, 1968, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Roger and Sherry (Endicott) Sheeley. Susan enlisted in the US Navy Reserves and then later served and retired from the Missouri National Guard in 2014. Currently, she was employed with MODOT as an executive assistant. She was an avid Samoyed enthusiast and competed in AKC conformation dog shows. She also loved riding quarter horses. Susan is survived by: four children, Samantha Lewis (Andrew), James Wilkerson, Chris Wilkerson (Devin Freeman) and Allen Wilkerson, all of California, Mo.; six loving grandchildren; one sister, Tania Sheeley, with her two sons, Cody and Josh Meyers, Paw Paw, Mich.; one Aunt, Ja Ann Hamilton, Niles, Mich.; cousin, Wendy Walker of Redford, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Dale and Coleen Endicott and a grandson, Kaden Lewis who passed away in 2005. The family will receive friends at Windmill Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Windmill Ridge Funeral Home with Rev.
