Wilma L. Baker

Mrs. Wilma L. Baker, age 86 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Wilma was born February 23, 1930, in Sabula, Mo., the daughter of Samuel and Lou Etta Hughes Dennison. She was married on November 17, 1947, to Arthur E. Baker, who preceded her in death on October 30, 2001. A homemaker, Wilma was a resident of the Jefferson City area for the past 12 years. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family. Survivors include: two daughters, Susan Baker of Jefferson City, Mo. and Sandra Dyer of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Arthur E. Baker II on August 6, 2010; two brothers, Charles Dennison and Clyde Dennison; and one sister, Jewel Lewis.
