Barbara Ann Schulte

Barbara Ann Schulte, 82, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born February 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Elmer and Juanita (Sinn) Foerster. Barbara was united in marriage at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City, on May 15, 1954, to Victor Schulte, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1992. Barbara was a graduate of Jefferson City Public High School where she was a cheerleader. She worked at Exchange Bank, was an insurance agent, a homemaker and sold crafts that she made. She was president of the CPA wife's club, enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle and was known for having fun and laughing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She is survived by: her daughter, Beth (Mike) Reinhardt of Tebbetts; son, Mark (Christina) Schulte of Kennewick, Wash.; grandchildren, Brooke (Josh) Gilmore, Blake Schulte and David Reinhardt; great-granddaughter, Layla Gilmore. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Fischer. Family will receive friends from 11-1 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1 p.m. at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
