Catherine J. Nilges

Catherine J. Nilges, age 90, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born September 26, 1925, the daughter of William L. and Katherine K. (Lock) Renner. She was a graduate of St. Peter High School and the University of Missouri. She was married to Paul E. Nilges in 1964. She worked as a secretary for several State of Missouri Agencies. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived her niece Kathy Carew, of Holts Summit, Mo. and her nephew, Stephen Carew of Guanajuato, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Mary Ann Carew. A graveside service was held on June 17, 2016, at Resurrection Cemetery with the Rev. Gregory C.
