Orval Gene Jinson

Orval Gene Jinson, 81, of California, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born to the late Charles and Myrtle (Kaufman) Jinson on March 3, 1935, in McKittrick, Mo. Orval was united in marriage on December 29, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo., to Loretta (Mayfield) Jinson who survives. He loved going fishing, playing cards, going to the Casino, his pets, watching westerns, people stopping by to visit and dancing around his home with his wife Loretta. Survivors include, five daughters, Kathy Werdehausen (Don) of New Bloomfield, Mo., Vicky Shirley (Thomas) of California, Mo., Sherri Jinson and (Kevin Smith) of Osceola, Mo., LeAnn Ringwald (Wayne) of California, Mo. and Christy Richardson (Mike) of Holt Summit, Mo; two sisters, Barbara Ann Johnson (Bill) of Jefferson City, Mo. and Sandy Maples (William) of Holt Summit, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Orval was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church in McGirk, Mo. Officiating will be Rev. Jeremy Barnard. Private Burial will be at the California City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home.
