Marna "Denise" Gliser

Marna "Denise" Gliser, 60, of New Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1956, in Wyandotte County, Kansas, a daughter of the late Thomas Wesley and Oma Monzel (McKinney) Williamson. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. On June 14, 1975, Denise was united in marriage in Eldon, Missouri, to Larry Gliser, who survives at their home. Denise was a homemaker and enjoyed ceramics, video games, reading, and her flower garden. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Along with her husband Larry, Denise is also survived by two daughters: Marna R. Barnes (Dale) of Jefferson City and Jennifer L. Klick (Cody) of Tebbetts; five siblings: Larry Brown of Jefferson City, Karen Dishman (Max) of Henley, Deanne Parsons of Eldon, Shawna Walker (Kenny) of Jefferson City, and Terry Brown; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Sandra Gibson of Buelle, Lois Runkle (Clyde) of Idaho, Mike Gliser (Loraine) of Holts Summit, Chris Gliser of New Bloomfield; and three grandchildren: Irene Layne Barnes, Kevin Barnes, and Natalie Klick. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Rev. John Forsyth officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
