Willie Lee Bonner, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, at her residence. She was born on May 14, 1941, in Holly Bluff, Miss., to James and Magnolia Session. She was one of 10 children and lived in Mississippi where she attended the New Foundation Second Baptist Church. She moved to Sikeston, Mo., in 1964 where she met her future husband. On July 2, 1972, Willie married her love Jerry Bonner Sr. and lived in Essex, Mo. In 1997, they moved to Jefferson City, Mo., to be close to their children. In Jefferson City she was a devoted member of the Church of God in Christ, where she was appointed to the Mother Board. She faithfully devoted her life to God through Christ until her passing on August 18, 2016. She leaves to mourn her passing: four sons, Jerry Bonner Jr. of Jefferson City, Mo., Kevin (Sylvia) Bonner of Jefferson City, Mo., Earnest (Sarah) Bonner of Hillsboro, Mo., and adopted son, Cornell Dillard of Jefferson City, Mo.; four daughters, Joyce (Ernest) Crawford of Jefferson City, Mo., Nedra (Hadley) Hayes of Jefferson City, Mo., Belinda Bonner of Jefferson City, Mo., Sidney (Robert) Jones of Sikeston, Mo.; 18 grandchildren, Nidra Session, Nyesha Jones, Apresia Session, Nyarrius Day, Katieona Session, Jermyla Smith, Jermaul Walker, Jerry Bonner Jr. III, Jeriah Bonner, Joshua Brown, Kaylani Bonner, Jerrick Hayes, Tyrell Hayes, Toya Stewart, Christopher Taylor, Dorian Bowens, Adrian Bowens, Christopher Bowens; six great-grandchildren, Howard Leon Brown, Tehrion Byers, Terahn Jones, Kamea Vanrees, Taveeon Flowler, Desean Gregory; three sisters, Magnolia Gainwell of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Marion Session of Jefferson City, Mo., Evelyn Perryman of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Aaron Session of Louis, Miss., Alfred (Maple) Session of Florissant, Mo.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bonner Sr.; two brothers, James Session and George Session; and two sisters, Ruby Session and Girther Smoot. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Gregory Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
