Fredrick Tilford Hawkins, 67, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Jeffersoon City, Mo., died on Friday, September 18, 2015. Fred was born to the union of Albert and Lorene (Warren) Hawkins in Jefferson City, Missouri. Fred was educated in the Jefferson City public schools and was a graduated in the class of 1965 at Jefferson High School. While there, he played basketball. He received a football scholarship and furthered his education at Lincoln University. He also attend Capitol Business College and later worked for the Lincoln U business office. Fred later moved to Kansas City, Missouri and was employed by A. G. Warehouse until he retired. He was united in marriage to the former Sandra White. His parents, step-parents and three brothers preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sandra Hawkins; brothers, Delroy Hawkins (Anne), St. Paul, Minn., Stanley Hawkins and Milton "Chip" Britt, Jefferson City, Mo. and James Hawkins, Lincoln, Neb.; sister, Shirley Triplett- Perry (William), Kansas City, Mo.; half-brother, George T. Hawkins (Charlene Robinson); step-brothers, Phillip Connor (Wanda) and Earnest Connor (Rhonda Henson); half-sisters, M. Rena Kelly (Shawn) and Mary A. Hawkins-Wahid; step-sisters, Carolyn Connor and Janice Watson, others relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Thursday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Raytown Church of Christ, 6000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri.
