Kathryn Wooley

Kathryn "Kitty" Wooley, 89, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on November 19, 1925, the daughter of the late John Snura and the late Viola (Chick) Snura. Kitty was married on July 8, 1944, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Ernest F. Wooley, who preceded her in death. Kitty enjoyed doing needlework, especially making beautiful crocheted doilies. She also enjoyed her vegetable garden. She was the loving mother of one son, Johnnie Wooley (Carole) of Yantis, Texas; and one daughter, Kathleen Arthur (David) of Fulton. She loved her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. As requested, following cremation, Kitty's ashes will be returned to the state of Texas where she and her husband lived for many years and raised their family.
