Carolyn E. Morgan

Carolyn E. Morgan, 65, of Eugene, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at her home in Eugene, Missouri. She was born on June 4, 1949, in Boonville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Leo Joseph and Irene Rose (Wolfe) Koechner. On October 26, 1968, in Tipton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to James L. Morgan who survives at the home. Carolyn was employed with the Missouri State Penitentiary, the Missouri Highway Department, Chesebrough-Ponds for 15 years, and the Law Office of Steve Bratten for eight years. She loved to read and to buy and sell antiques and enjoyed her puppy, "Alli", and visiting with her friends and family. Other survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Huff of Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandsons, Joshua Huff and Adam Huff, both of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers, Philip Koechner of O'Fallon, Mo., Marvin Koechner of Tipton, Mo. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo. with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery in Mary's Home, Mo. Memorials in Carolyn's memory are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
