Russell M. Henrickson

Mr. Russell M. Henrickson, age 86 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013, at St. Joseph's Bluffs Nursing Center surrounded by family. He was born February 5, 1927 in North Dakota. He was married on January 9, 1954. Russell received a bachelors and masters degree in chemistry from North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D. Russell was employed as a chemist in the plastics industry for 40 years retiring from Cook Paint Co. Survivors include: his wife of 59 years, Bonnie Henrickson; two sons, Alden Henrickson and his wife Pamela of Jefferson City, Mo. and Drew Henrickson and his fiancÈe, Michele VanWechel of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter, Noelle Henrickson and her fiancÈ, Steve Kersting of Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Doris Tees and her husband Art of Raymore, Mo.; four grandchildren, Aaron M. Henrickson, Matthew A. Henrickson, William R. Henrickson, and Whitney VanWechel. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Amanda G. Henrickson on August 6, 1997. A private family memorial service will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus.
